| 04.26.10 | Capitol Roundtable with Steve Walters: The 2009-10 Legislative Session |
|
The 2009-10 legislative session touched everyone in one way or another. To get state government through the recession, it raised taxes. It regulated the $793-million payday lending industry, and voted to legalize the on-farm sale of raw milk. It also ended up censuring -- instead of expelling -- Rep. Jeff Wood for personal misconduct. Capitol reporters Mary Spicuzza of the Wisconsin State Journal, Bob Hague of the Wisconsin Radio Network and Jason Stein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reviewed the highs and lows of the session that ended last week. |

Scott McCallum's 2002 address, and Ron McCrea, communications director for former Gov.
